Situated approximately 8 miles or 13 km from Avillion Admiral Cove, it is a 500 years old Portuguese-build lighthouse, well preserved until today. A mini equatorial forest is protected around this lighthouse. Vehicles are not allowed in the immediate vicinity but there is a nice 1.2 km trek from the base of the hill to the lighthouse. One can catch the spectacular view of the Straits of Malacca from the lighthouse. It is a good place for bird watchers as migratory birds such as sparrows, hawks, eagles and swallows can be seen here during the months of March – April and September – October.
